Back From CHA

Cre8time.org and the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show

We left the cold of the northeast thinking we would have sunny and warm weather at CHA.  That did not happen this year.  It was warmer in the northeast than at CHA.  But that did not stop us for getting our work done.

The Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show is a very big event.  This year, I hosted one of the tables at the Round Table event.  My table event was entitled Photo Talk™ spoke to various participants about photography.   It was fun answering many of their questions regarding photographing their crafts.

Theresa Cifali, Lisa Rojas, Ann Butler and I worked on a display for the Cre8time.org booth.  Cre8time.org just launched and it is designed to promote crafting and to help people get back to crafting.  Make sure to visit the website and check out their video.

Make sure to visit them on Twitter as well: What will you #cre8time for this year? cre8time.org

Designer Showcase

The Designer Showcase was on the main floor this year and this is a sneak peek of part of my work.  Unconstructed furniture is a big trend in home décor and I had a desire to work in wire.  That is when I came up with this wire dress, which doubles as a tea-light holder.  We shipped the dress in two pieces.
