2009 St. Pat's Day Parade in Scranton, PA

My family gathered in downtown Scranton on the corner of Wyoming and Spruce. We braved the cold temperatures to enjoy the second largest St. Patrick’s Day parade which was held in Scranton, PA. There were Four generations laughing and having a wonderful time.

My only regret was that I missed seeing a new Twitter friend who was only one block away from where I was standing.

I had charged my camera’s battery, chosen the lenses that I would take with me, packed everything nicely – only to get a “card full” error right after my first photograph. Thank goodness I had a small backup camera. These are a few of the photographs taken on that day. Hope you enjoy!

Trading Card Treasures

My new book: Trading Card Treasures explores using your own photographs on Artist Trading Cards.

It’s a great way to combine your love of paper crafts with photographs of your family, pets, flowers, and all types of photographs that you love to take.

This book is packed with great ideas for Photograph ATCs that can be traded with family and friends, or used in other artwork.

Place them on greeting cards, combine several of them and place them in a frame, or add them to your scrapbook pages.

The small size of the Photograph ATCs allows you to use all of those scraps from other craft projects to create the ATCs.

You’ll also learn how to use more than just paper in your crafting. There are projects that show you how to use fabric, metal, and my favorite -- acrylic sheets.

Along with the beautifully displayed Trading Card and instructions, you’ll find many crafting tips and secrets with each project.
