Merry Christmas ATC's

To celebrate the release of my new book on Photograph Trading Cards, (Trading Card Treasures), our 2008 Christmas cards were Photograph Trading Cards that were mounted onto a transparency which was stamped with white snowflakes. The ATC's in my book are traditional photograph trading cards and not digital trading cards.

The digital ATC above was created to wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas Photograph Trading Card

Materials:
Digital photograph
Scrapbook Factory Deluxe Program (or your favorite graphic program)
Scrap Girls digital kit: STI-Holy Night (www.scrapgirls.com)

Instructions:
Use the Scrapbook Factory Deluxe program to create a 2 ½ by 3 ½ - inch page without a border. Add the Holy Night background to the page.

Insert the torn page embellishment from the Holly Night embellishments file onto the page. Place your photograph over the torn page embellishment.

Add three gem brads to the upper-right corner of the photograph. Place a green ribbon under the last brad. Place the star embellishment on the upper-left corner of the photograph.

Place the ribbon embellishment from the Scrapbook Factory program on the bottom of the photograph. Type the words, “Merry Christmas” over the ribbon.

Save the file. Export the image as a jpeg. Make sure you choose the “best” jpeg under the jpeg options and type 300 pixels/inches in the resolution box before saving.

Print your Photograph Trading Card onto premium photograph paper.

This site has a free scrapbooking program that is easy to use. They also have free kits to download as well. It's a great way to get into digital scrapbooking.

May your Christmas be Merry. IF you celebrate another holiday during this season, May it be Merry as well. And may your New Year be happy, healthy, and full of creative projects.
