Silk Batik Scarf
I've been asked by a number of readers to write a tutorial on how to create batiks. I'm happy to announce that I have created an eight-page booklet on creating this silk scarf batik.
The dyes used in the tutorial are by ILoveToCreate Tulip® One-Step Tie-Dye Kits™. These dyes are a breeze to mix and use. The colors are beautiful, as you can see in the photo below.

The booklet contains:
Photographs,
Step-by-step instructions,
Safety tips (wax can burn the skin and it can catch on fire - so you need to be careful when working with it),
and
The tutorial has an alternative method to using wax: Tulip® Fashion Art Resist™ .
This resist is also easier to apply to the scarf and easier to remove from the scarf than wax.
